USC Trojans Jen Kessy and April Ross advanced to the round of 16 in women’s beach volleyball by beating Spain today in three tough sets (21-19, 19-21, 19-17).

They finished the match on a 7-3 run to seal the victory and remain undefeated in Pool D. They go into the next round as the fourth seed.
