After getting rolled by Illinois on Monday,USC (3-1) defeated Texas (2-2) in overtime 59-53 at the Maui Invitational.

Eric Wise led the Trojans with 13 points and Jio Fontan finished with 11 points and 6 assists. The Trojans play Marquette on Wednesday in the tourney’s 5th place game.
