In case you missed it, Devon Kennard, one of those secret or not-so-secret commitments, announced earlier this morning he would attend USC. Kennard is rated as the top defensive end in the nation according to some recruiting services.

No one really knows yet where safety Jawanza Starling of Tallahassee, Fla., will commit. But I’m reminded that last year his high school teammate, cornerback T.J. Bryant, essentially told USC in the summer he would commit but then kept it secret for the entire fall and winter until signing day. Could Starling follow suit?

USC and Minnesota will play a home-and-home football series in 2010 and 2011, Trojan athletic director Mike Garrett announced today. The Trojans will play the Golden Gophers in Minneapolis in their new on-campus TCF Bank Stadium on Sept. 18, 2010. Minnesota will visit the Los Angeles Coliseum to face USC on Sept. 3, 2011.
