When USC players report tomorrow for training camp, defensive end Nick Perry and tailback Curtis McNeal will not be there because of academic issues regarding the NCAA Clearinghouse. I previously mentioned Perry only needs a verification of graduation, so it should happen. McNeal is more complicated but people seem to think he will qualify.

Offensive lineman Daniel Campbell did not qualify and will not attend USC this year. He is enrolled at Hargreaves Military Academy in Virginia for a year and will be free to go anywhere.

Here is USC’s 2008 pre-season football practice schedule. Practices are usually open to the public (subject to change) and generally run about 2 hours. Unless noted, practices are held on campus on Howard Jones Field. Because the schedule could change, please check a day in advance of a planned visit.
