I’m as sick of talking about the Gunslinger as anyone, but this Jets fan’s Brett Favre jersey redesign is pretty genius.

{BFL 2010} Week 5: When the Wheels Start Coming Off
When last we talked about the Blogger Fantasy League, our protagonist’s team (Febreze Freshness) was rolling over some of the league’s best teams and looking like a dark horse contender, riding the shoulders of Matt Schaub.
Flash-forward a couple weeks, and the steamroller is looking more like a jalopy. Whatever the team was doing to live up to its sponsor/namesake in the earlier contests has devolved to a significant not-so-fresh feeling that serves as a stinky reminder of some incredibly poor decisions in the rearview. I don’t want to go into specifics, unless doing so might help somebody catch the guy who assaulted me in an alleyway, using weapons like Hakeem Nicks and the Eagles D to overpower a non-existent offensive attack.
To find out more about Week 5, I strongly encourage you to read Brian Bassett’s well-written and entertaining rundown of the entire league’s action, and don’t even think of looking at my team’s final box score.

It’s official – Nike takes over for Reebok as the logo on all the jerseys in the NFL, starting in the 2012 season.
Gary used Mel [Kiper, Jr] like that all the time. In the agent business, people know Gary and Mel are close, and some people suspect that Mel ranks players more favorably if they are Gary’s clients.

Last week, the fine performance of the Febreze Freshness got some love from NFL.com’s Craig Ellenport:
In addition to top overall draft pick Chris Johnson, Shanoff has been bolstered by Tom Brady, Antonio Gates and Miles Austin, among others. His Week 4 foe, Kyle Bunch, representing Febreze, has been riding QB Matt Schaub, and made a nice pickup last week with RB Peyton Hillis.
Unfortunately, it didn’t do a lot of good – the Freshness suffered their first loss since week 1, falling to Shanoff’s 99-Rated Swagger 89-73.

The cops became suspicious when he kept dropping the steering wheel.
Things are going very well for me here, and every day I am thankful I chose to come to New Orleans. Seems like I could probably just walk up to someone, knife him in the gut or shoot him point-blank in the face, and then walk away without anyone doing anything.
Old Spice is so hot right now, they can even make Ray Lewis riding a Raven work for them. (Source: http://www.youtube.com/)
