The L.A. Times reports some good news for Hershel Dennis and other
Trojan players today:
A sexual assault investigation involving USC running back Hershel Dennis and other players is not expected to result in criminal charges, law
enforcement sources said Wednesday, citing a lack of evidence.
Team officials say Dennis will be reinstated before next week’s game at BYU. It’s not as if
USC’s backfield is in dire need, but as long as Hershel can hold on to the ball, I don’t think anyone will complain about having additional depth at
running back.
