BCS Bust

Unfortunately we can’t sell this any more. Considering I agreed to a litany of terms and downloaded assets to create this from the USC Graphic Identity Program, I see why lawyers representing USC came after us with cease and desist notices. But banning all of our TrojanWire designs based on the use of a single red or yellow color seems quite outrageous. Almost as much as the BCS.

So we’re attempting to go legit — submitting to the USC Trademarks and Licensing Services (“TLS”).

Very curious to see what is and what isn’t deemed appropriate and in keeping with the mission of the institution (even though these seem well outside their jurisdiciton).

  1. They probably think that they have domain over using FCCA)) and 990000 as the colors for a website as well!

  2. USC opened as a 5.5-point favorite over Texas in a potential Rose Bowl matchup and within a matter of hours has been bid to 6. The betting public clearly sees through all this nonsense.
