Glenn of Southlake, Texas brings us this gem from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram Sports section, published on Saturday, January 7, 2006 in the “NFL Insider” column by Charean Williams (pictured here):

“Now we know why Pete Carroll was a failure in the NFL. His USC Trojans were beaten in the Rose Bowl because he was outcoached by Mack Brown. Carroll, who was 34-33 in three years with the New England Patriots and one year with the New York Jets, would be wise to finish his career in the college ranks, where he can beat most teams with superior talent.”
We’re not gonna waste any time addressing this drivel, but thought it was absurd enough to post.
