I hate to be the one to tell you, but we’ve got another entry in the ‘when it rains it pours’ files. From the N.Y. Times today at 6:35pm pacific:

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Southern California backup quarterback Mark Sanchez was arrested Wednesday after being accused of sexually assaulting a female student, police said.

Sanchez, 19, was arrested around 4 p.m. just north of campus and was being booked for investigation of sexual assault, police Officer Jason Lee said.

”The alleged assault occurred earlier today,” Lee said. The USC student reported it to police but no other details were immediately available.

A spokesman for USC said the university will release a statement later Wednesday.

At this point, we’ll remind everyone that these are just allegations. Let’s all try to reserve judgment until some facts materialize. That being said….Sanchez — WTF??

    When you make fun of something as dumb as Jimmy Clausens hair cut because he wants to go to a school with a Degree worth something and play for a fine Coach who has beaten you more over the years than anyone else and doesn’t cheat like USC has in the past who knows what has been going on currantly but it does not look good for you in that department and oh yeah. Your QB who Jimmy Clausen is supposedly scared of looks alot better in IRISH colors than the Jail Jumpsuit Mr.Sanchez had to wear not too long ago.

    On another note I did get to see Anthony Davis play in all three of his games verses Notre Dame and though he beat us twice with incredible games of 6 TDs in 72 and lost to us in 73 to a #1 ND team and then 4 more TD in 74 I always liked him and have met him a few times.
    God Bless him on his surgery and I hope he fully recovers and is back with his family and friends soon. He was a class act and a really nice guy, Not like OJ who is an huge prick and Killer too.
