We’ve seen reports that Carson was using some untraditional/cutting-edge rehab methods for his knee. But when we heard about his ‘Cornhole Classic’, we feared he’d gone WAY too far in his bid to start in Week 1 of 2006.
Fortunately, after some investigation, we’ve found that cornholing is a popular midwestern pasttime, where you score points by throwing bean bags thru a hole in a board. According to Carson, it’s a real hoot:
Shae and I got hooked on playing cornhole right after we moved out here. We have wanted to do an event that incorporates the sport for the past few years so we are excited that it’s finally going to happen.
The event will benefit Lighthouse Youth Services in Cincinnati. Kudos to Carson & Shae for bringing much-needed money to youth group causes through their passion for cornholing.
