Popular radio host Petros Papadakis resigned from 1540-AM today. Papadakis is going to pursue other interests because the future of the radio station remains up in the air since it was recently sold and is no longer the flagship station of USC football.
We’ve said it before, we’ll say it again — Petros, there is always a job for you here at TrojanWire. And from what we hear, we pay better than 1540 anyways.

Petros buddy…you were blind-sided, we all know this. Not just because 1540 lost USC sports, things like that happen. But because it replaced it with “domer football”? Any decent radio personality would have done the same thing…only sooner! You still have the love and following…just don’t throw your gift in entertaining away because of your embarressment of the above. Get back to what you do best, only find a station that you know “has your back”!
Sad to hear about the departure, Petros. Your Trojan Love and Laker Hater propensities will be missed. Now he make that big switch from local sports to ESPN a la Keith Olberman. Oh yeaaahhh.

P – I have always loved your show, the ins and outs with depression, and the “say it like it is” regarding behind the scenes USC football. Only time I disagreed with you was in you err in thinking Matt would not come back for another year. I agree with everyone that 1540 went down hill bringing in Tony, adding the pair of idiots at 1pm and being the Notre Dame flagship. Since then I switched to 710 and only occasionally came back just to listen to you. Fight On and glad you jumped ship. Keep doing what you do – Larry.

I hate usc, I googled your name and this is how I found this garbage dump of a website, but I will miss your show and your brand of humor. 1540 started going down hill when they added that bald headed dumb ass bruno and then Roggin jumped ship, Dave Smith went national……and now you’re gone…boy oh boy…if it weren’t for Dave Smith I’d never listen to 1540 ever again! I can’t stand this mutha blankers voice. Petros you are fricking obnoxious, your voice makes me want to slit my wrists. Anytime I catch myself watching pros vs joes I start to get into it but then can’t stay on the channel because I can’t stand your irritating voice so I watch it on mute. I hope this show hires another host because as ugly as you are, and as irritating as your yelling voice is you should not be on either radio, or television. How are your writing skills?
