USC still #3 in the BCS

Not to worry; or no need to break out the “Beyond Common Sense” shirts. Michigan’s season is done and their lead over USC is by less than 1/100th.

With wins against the rivals, Notre Dame and UCLA, the Trojans will be playing in the national championship game for the 4th year in a row.

Fight On.

  1. No worries at all, in terms of the rankings. What needs to happen is the second portion of your comment – 2 wins in 2 games. Is USC emotionally ready to play big game after big game after big game? Especially considering that PC had set a target of going to the Rose Bowl as #1 goal. Having achieved that goal 2 games before the end of the season could peak some of the younger guys early.

But on the other hand, there are guys like Steve Smith who can talk about how he produced miraculous catches against Oklahoma to win the National Title for USC and how it would be awesome of he could be a part of it again!

We’ll see how the team performs next Saturday!

  2. i wouldn’t sit through another mich-ou game! that would be the so what game.
