Final score from Pasadena tonight: 32-18.

Michigan, a team many were arguing should have received a BCS Championship invite, got owned by USC in the second half of tonight’s game in Pasadena. A Trojan passing attack that was hit-or-miss through much of the season looked bulletproof, hitting on 27 of 45 for 390 yards against a top-ranked Wolverine defense.

The Trojans would appear to be the odds on favorite to start the 2007 campaign as the #1 team in the country.

In the meantime, here’s to the seniors who ended their Trojan careers tonight. We won’t soon forget your contributions.

  1. it’s spelled rosy, not rosey.

  2. Actually, when you’re referring to a Bowl game (or Rose McGowan), it is Rosey. Look it up. It’s science.

  3. after scoring 10 points on offense in 3 consecutive halfs, pete tells kiffin to stop running the ball and go to the air. why on earth did it take that long?

let’s see here, with 2 NFL first-day draft picks at wide receiver and a quarterback with a rocket launcher for an arm, why does the head coach have to tell the offensive coordinator to go to the air???

why weren’t we doing that all year?

  4. Socalbryan…I can tell you why. Because our offensive coordinators don’t have a clue, that’s why. Think what this team could have done with a little imagination and ability to adjust on offense. Oh what could have been.

Dunno, I guess it depends on the outcome of the NCAA investigation into USC rule violations regarding Reggie Bush.

If they don’t put you on probation, probably pretty good, but the smart money is that USC will be disqualified from post-season play, which will mean that they will not be ranked.
