WR Steve Smith of USC, who had never even broken 4.5 while at USC ran under 4.4 on some scout’s timers.

With that kind of speed, and some NFL bulk, don’t be surprised to see him among the elite small guys a la Marvin Harrison, Santana Moss and even his older namesake.
