USC Extends An Offer to Sam McGuffie

“USC’s looking at my tape right now as we speak,” said the Cy-Fair High School running back, who is ranked by Scout.com as the nation’s No. 42 prospect. “I want an offer from them so bad. I really like Coach (Ken) Norton. He’s a cool dude. He went to UCLA and his dad was a professional boxer. We text each other all the time.

“Great running backs come from USC,” McGuffie said. “I’ve been compared to Reggie Bush before and that’s a big deal. I’m going to take a trip there at the beginning of the season hopefully. An offer from SC would be huge. I would definitely be tempted to commit.”

Reggie Bush may be a lil’ far-fetched…but I gotta say, this kid has track star speed with incredible guts as well. Easily one of the fastest high school kids I’ve seen. And I like fact that his school doesn’t run any of this spread option crap so it looks like he could be a good fit for the SC offense…peace

People are a bit hesitant to compare McGuffie with Bush because he is white. I remember playing with Scott Lockwood in 1991 and people didn’t think he had speed becasue he was white…

Then he started as a freshman…

Then he ripped off one of the most amazing runs against ohio State in 1990.

Why cant there be a white ‘Bush’ after all there’s already one in the white house 😉

First off, SC let McGuffie go because were pretty much STOCKPILED AT THE POSITION!! And secondly, McGuffie said that he didnt want to have to compete for a position, which means he knew he would ride pine at SC (scared much??). Third and fourthly, SC has as much tradition as U of M…we do both have the same rival (Notre Dame ring a bell?), and in case you’ve forgotten…YOU HAVENT BEATEN SC IN LIKE FOREVER!!! REMEMBER THE 2007 ROSE BOWL??? Keep McGuffie and your wack ass spread offense….SC WILL TAKE McKNIGHT AND TYLER (The #1 and 2 backs last year) AND WHOOP YOUR @$$3$ AGAIN IN THE ROSE BOWL!!! FIGHT ON you Mustelidae, which includes river otters, sea otters, martens, weasels and minks.

he didn’t do shit in the army all american game …tp did. Ohio state has like 4 or 5 guys that can run. I’ll be in your house in sept. any good spots to hit?

i cant wait to see next years line up, and to whip norte dames ass once more ! and for the go blew fan can eat shit. your team is very over rated and suck realy bad! high school kids could whip your teams ass i smell nat champ for sc this year and i hope we play sec team just to shut them hill-billies up once more…………………. fight on !!!!
