From The Patriot Ledger:
Promising rookie inside linebacker Oscar Lua violated the first rule of the fourth preseason game – don’t get hurt.
Lua
suffered a right leg injury on the opening drive of Thursday night’s
preseason finale against the New York Giants and did not return. He
barely made it off the field and then lay on his back on the Patriots
sideline for several minutes while the athletic training staff worked
on him. He eventually made his way gingerly to the locker room. Before the injury, Lua seemed to have a good shot at making the 53-man roster. His bad luck could be good news for Corey Mays’ bid to make cut.
Tough luck for Oscar.
