University of Southern California’s Allyson Felix is seeing tripple…gold medals that is. The 21-year old senior, who studies Elementary Education at USC, has won three golds at the IAAF World Championships in Athletics in Osaka, Japan. Felix is only the second woman in history to bring home three-golds from a single World Championship

In the 200-meters, Felix set the fastest world record since 1999, winning the gold in a super-human 21.81 seconds. Felix than played her part in the 400 and 1,600 relays. The 400 was especially exciting, with the USA barely edging Jamaica in a photo-finish, 41.98 to 42.01. Felix shared the 400 gold with teammate and Trojan alumn Torri Edwards, who graduated from USC in 1999.
