It is a rather nice website Mr. Meyer has himself. Houston Nutt’s coming (pun) in at a close 2nd though.

I think it is absolutely reprehensible that you are not disciplining your thug more than you are. ONE half of ONE game? What if he would have permanently blinded him in that one eye?

You need to take a que from the University of Oregon on how to
discipline players. You don’t know the definition of discipline.

You are supposed to be LEADING these young men and setting an example for them. Oh that’s right…this is Florida. You ARE setting an example for them.

My word…you ought to be ashamed of yourself Mr. Meyer.

How do you look yourself in the mirror by giving a 1/2 game suspension? You ought to be ashamed of yourself for enabling your bully to keep doing business as usual. Look at New Mexico womens soccer play. She was suspended indefinitely. You exemplify all that is wrong with semi pro football (division I).

Wow.. Why are you Florida fans complaining? 2 BCS titles in 2 years and a possible 3rd. A Heisman Trophy winner and possible 2nd trophy. A devoted coach and team.. I am a HUGE Notre Dame fan.. Don’t think I have to go any further.. Urban you are welcome to South Bend anytime..

Urban I will have to admit that I will never forget where I was when ESPN posted the message “Urban Meyer to Florida.” I was upset beyond words. The man that could lead Notre Dame back to the promise land went to Florida. A day that is in my eyes as memorable as Pope John Paul II getting shot.. Yes I am a devoted Catholic.

But after reading your reason for Florida I could not question your motive. Family comes first. Now I am a Florida fan. Obviously not to the extent of Notre Dame but I will be rooting for you and Florida for another Heisman/BCS Championship.. I wish you luck Urban and I leave you with this one thing — PLEASE COME TO NOTRE DAME!!!

Coach Meyer… I hope you took notice that the coach of Alabama DID NOT run up the score on your loss… this is KIND… something you do not know as you constantly run up scores on teams. Not fair.. and Tebow is NOT a one man team even tho he is a fantastic talent… I am tired of reading 4 pages of sports about THE GATERS & TEBOW
What will you do next year… cry???? I am glad that you lost to Alabama… NO ONE IS PERFECT.

I am from Cincinnati and had a cousin Urban Meyer. I had an uncle that was a Fransican Father whose parish was in Texas. My son has heard you speak at a business meeting in Pebble Beach, Fla. for Great American Insurance. He was curious as to whether we could be related. My father had eight siblings. I was raised in Norwood, Ohio and am now eighty years of age. Just curious.

Urban – I have 3 kids myself and I can relate with the everday glory of being a father. Nothing else like it. The difference is you have 85 other players, coaches, University and Gator Nation to support. I’m sure the preasure is unlike no other. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family Urban.. Wish you well..

Dear Coach Meyere,

I am not sure if you ever even see this, but I wanted to take a chance that you might. Don’t know if you will even rememember this letter which was sent to you, but the young man who sent it was killed in a one vehicle car accident in Blount County Tennessee. His dreams of ever becoming a Florida Gator have died with him. Just thought someone might like to know that Florida has lost a very devoted fan. Thank you for your attention. I know i am a great athlete but i move around alot and miss most of the high school season. i will be a junior next year and will hopefully get to finsh the season. I am a very talented Halfback and i also play linebacker. I am not sure if i will be able to be recruited because i rarely ever get to fiish a season of football so i was wondering if The University of Florida had walk on try outs?
