A Glimmer of Hope

Coming off an unexpected loss to an inferior Stanford team, all seemed lost for the down-trodden USC Trojans. Then came the faintest glimmer of hope. It was as if an angel had parted the storm clouds, just to give Trojan fans some flash of justice; some sign that all would be good and right in the world.

As if a consolation prize for the Trojans’ miserable loss, UCLA was beaten by the Notre Dame team that couldn’t manage to beat a fly. This gives the Trojan faithful a hope that maybe, just maybe…the Trojan god still does exist.

  1. The only good news of the weekend. Look at Olson’s face. He makes the best expressions.

Unfortunately, the silver lining on this cloud diminishes greatly when we consider that this loss probably assured the end of the Koach Karl era at UCLA.

  3. The good thing about this weekend is that we got to see what a bunch of prima donnas the Trojans are. I mean you guys should be beating the pants off everyone. You clearly have the Lion’s share of talent and good coaching (although that is looking a little iffy in the past two weeks). So what’s up? I’m not trying to antagonize. I respect what the program has accomplished in recent years, but I’d like to see Trojanwire do some reporting and prognosticating. I mean is it all Booty’s fault?

  4. are you kidding me?? the one time i actually root for ucla they lose. who gives a rat’s ass about notre dame? they are worse than the bruins. my dream of an undefeated season & a no win season for that fat pig coach & loser teams is lost!!
