USC Earns Series Split With Cal State Northridge, 8-2

LOS ANGELES – Ryan Cook (Clovis/Clovis HS) allowed two runs in 6 2/3 innings Sunday as the USC Trojans beat the Cal State Northridge Matadors, 8-2, to split the two-game series at Dedeaux Field. Cook scattered eight hits and struck out six while walking three batters to improve to 6-4 on the season.
