Coach Pete Carroll said USC’s bye weeks have been “nothing but positive so far,” and they especially have helped the Trojans in the injury department.
Receiver Damian Williams (ankle) and fullback Stanley Havili (hamstring) didn’t practice all week. But, with two additional days of rest, they should be good to go for Oregon State.
“Both those guys feel good, and without any setbacks they’ll be able to play,” Carroll said. “If we were playing a game this weekend, it would be questionable whether they could make it. I think we’re going to be in good shape next week.”
Receiver Patrick Turner missed practice Thursday because of a quadriceps injury and because he wasn’t feeling well.
