The program will air at 7:00 p.m. PST on CBS Channel 2 in Los Angeles this Sunday, December 14th.
COACH CARROLL – Byron Pitts profiles USC college football coach Pete Carroll, who, in addition to his success in making the Trojans a football dynasty, is making positive contributions toward decreasing gang violence in Los Angeles. Catherine Olian and Joyce Cordero are the producer.
The segment will be about the positive contributions Coach Carroll has made to Los Angeles through A Better LA.
I hate to say it b/c it’s going to sound crazy…but this is bad mojo.
The list of people profiled on 60 Minutes who’ve gone on to suck it up afterwards is a long one — Charlie Weis and Vince Young being recent examples (although in fairness, Charlie kinda sucked already — but this is when he started to take it to another level)
It’s worse than the Madden curse.
I was very moved by the 60 minutes segment, and would like to be notified, if thier is anything I can do to assist with your effots to curve gang violence in LA. Nice to see some one of your statture giving back1!
