Here’s to my second favorite team in the country. Now, I’m not saying Utah deserves #2 over the Trojans, nor am I saying the Utes are better team than the Trojans. But any other team at AP #2 would piss me off. Yes, one of the best SEC teams (8-1 in conference) was trounced by a team from the Mountain West… Meanwhile the Pac-10 went 5-0 in bowl victories! Not to mention Utah attorney general Mark Shurlteff is putting together an investigation to see if the BCS violates Federal anti-trust laws, a notion likely supported by President Elect Obama:

“If I’m Utah, or if I’m USC or if I’m Texas, I might still have some quibbles,” the President Elect said. “That’s why we need a playoff.”
