Amber Heard, who played Seth Rogen’s girlfriend in Pineapple Express, will upgrade to Johnny Depp’s love interest in Rum Diary, the adaptation of the Hunter S. Thompson novel about a drunkard American journalist in San Juan; Heard will play Chenault, who falls into a love triangle with her boyfriend and Depp’s character. According to the report, both Scarlett Johansson and Keira Knightley were interested in the role but were scared off by the nudity required — not a problem for Heard, who is apparently naked in almost all of her recent flick, The Informers. I’ll believe this movie is going to get made when I’ve just finished watching it in the theatre and the credits are rolling.  And not a second sooner.
