Jose Canseco was a guest speaker at Bovard Auditorium Friday night. About 50 people were in attendance (Bovard holds 1,235). The only news worthy item that came from his appearance was his response to a question about whether he believes L.A. Doyer Manny Ramirez ever used steroids. The former Bash Brothers response:

Ramirez’s “name is most likely, 90%,” on the list.

The “list” that Canseco is referring to is the same list that exposed Alex Rodriguez. In 2003, 104 major leaguers tested positive for steroids. This list of players was supposed to be anonymous and confidential. The names of those 104 players has never been made public.

How Canseco can be 90% sure is still yet to be determined. Most have concluded that Manny Ramirez does not have the discipline or intelligence to be able to stay on the regiment of a steroid cycle. Only time will tell.

The only thing I am 100% sure about is that see-through dress shirts are awesome.
