Ted Miller from espn.com’s Pac-10 blog, got a great quote from All-American safety Taylor Mays on Matt Barkley:

“I think Matt Barkley throws the ball really well. He throws the ball better than anybody I’ve seen, especially when he rolls out and sets his feet and fires it. I think he makes dumb mistakes, but he’s supposed to make dumb mistakes. I think he’ll only learn and get better. He has the potential to be the next really, really, real big name. He’s starting to develop into that player.”

Also from Miller, a piece on who Mays thinks is the best safety in college football.
