After two years of testing and research, ESPN has decided to introduce live 3D sports television to the public. And there’s no better game to do it than USC-Ohio State. Sounds too good to be true, right? Well it sort of is… ESPN will have limited screenings of the event, with the 3D broadcast shown at the Galen Center. Tickets won’t be sold, but fans will have the opportunity to win tickets through the radio on 710 ESPN Los Angeles.
*Rumor is the 3D-glasses’ effectiveness had to be reduced after a beta-version featuring Taylor Mays highlights accidentally killed two test subjects.
