Columbus, Ohio-Don’t be surprised if USC goes at Ohio State free safety Anderson Russell early and often this Saturday night at Ohio Stadium.
The Buckeye senior has given up three touchdown passes in Ohio State’s last five quarters of play.
Russell was victimized on Colt McCoy’s 26-yard touchdown throw to Quan Cosby with 16 seconds left in last year’s Fiesta Bowl that gave Texas a 24-21 victory.
Russell was stung twice in Ohio State’s 31-27 close call against Navy last Saturday.
He was outjumped by Navy’s Marcus Curry to a ball for a third quarter Midshipmen TD. Curry smoked Russell on a 85-yard TD pass from Ricky Dobbs.
