Hungry for wieners. Sanchez took some time to fill his belly with a hot dog during the Jets thrashing of the lowly Oakland Raiders on Sunday. Sanchez said the reason he was chowing down on the sidelines was because he was sick all week and hadn’t eaten a lot of food.

He apologized after the game to Raider nation and Jets fans for his in game snack. He didn’t want anyone to think he was showing up Raider nation. Here’s his post game, post wiener apology:

Sanchez is wise for apologizing, one out of every three Raiders fans carries some form of blade with them at home games. You never want to mess with fans dressed in Darth Vadar gear or guys with steel spiked shoulder pads and Skeletor masks.
