Just so we’re all clear on this — the school’s official account posted this on YouTube. This was a school-funded production. As I understand it, the video was produced by the Anthropology Department as a study in the ‘whitest cultures throughout history.’

Okay, let’s start talking practically here. For us USC fans, this video is a weapon for any recruit that might consider Notre Dame. It’s up to us to make sure that it STAYS in circulation.

I’d have to imagine that even Clausen, who has almost no sense of fashion with his inexplicable affection for the spiky dos of rural Kentucky, would have skipped Notre Dame had this video been released before he committed there back in 2004.

Historically, this video may simply be it for ND. The school has had a bit of an uphill battle since the schools in better climates have an edge on most kids. The special status conferred by virtue of being unaffiliated and the NBC contract looks set to change with the growth of the Big-10 and the decline of a separate Catholic American identity. Indeed there is nothing to feel distinct or persecuted about post-Kennedy and when it looks set that most on the Supreme Court will soon be Catholic. (Not even to mention the whole pedo thing which make most Catholics.)

Notre Dame is on the decline. Perhaps BYU will soon be able to take its place.

BREAKING NEWS !!!!!!!!

The President has just ordered the CIA to look in this hideous video to promote ND……..hold on please…. it has been determined that it WAS produced by ND. Ladies and Gents, because of moral obligation of this station, this ode can only be described as “sissy”; there are far more fitting words but we’ll refrain from using them.

First of all, learn how to use proper grammar when writing. Alumni is plural, and because you are talking about an individual, you sound like an… ass clown. You are obviously wasting your money on tuition at Notre Lame. Second, I’m pretty sure our most famous alumnus is Neil Armstrong. I don’t know if you’ve heard of him. He is just the first human to walk on the Moon. Third, we killed you guys in football for eight straight years, but taking this video into consideration, you may not know the meaning of the word straight…
