Facebook buys fb.com, to be used in upcoming email service?

BGR speculates that @fb.com might be used as the domain for Monday’s big announcement–Facebook-powered email messaging.

I’d put my money on retaining the @facebook.com for public consumption, and using @fb.com for employee emails if anything…but I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
