Those of you eagerly awaiting Rupert Murdoch’s new iPad-only newspaper, will have to wait a little longer Plans to debut The Daily at MoMA SF have been tabled for “weeks, not months” according to a Media Memo source. Knowing that Jobs was set to appear with Murdoch, I’ll take one guess how this went down:

Assistant: Mr. Jobs, the prototype of The Daily is ready for your review

(Jobs looks at it for seven seconds.)

Jobs: It’s not ready.

And of course, “weeks, not months” will happen…because a team of lucky programmers will be rocking Adderall and Red Bull coladas from now until the thing is done and Jobs-ready.
