It’s hard to believe Matt Barkley is entering his junior year. It seems like yesterday everyone was talking about how he is the first true freshman ever to start at QB for USC in a season opener.
But 17 wins, 5,526 passing yards, and 41 touchdown passes later, Matt has proven himself to be the most indispensable component to USC’s offense. Without him, the offense sputters and the result is 0-2, losing games that were winnable had he not been injured.
Experienced and mature enough to be in full command of the offense, Matt Barkley is good to go. Check out his highlights from last season. He’s got talent.
Wait until Cody Kessler gets his chance at qb. He will be a super star.
