Xavier Grimble established himself as a reliable tight end for the Trojans in 2012 and solidified a starting spot for next season, racking in 316 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns.
Grimble leads a tight ends duo with Randall Telfer that has potential be one of the best in the nation. And if there’s anyone on this team who can help fill the void with Robert Woods’ departure, X-Man can be that guy.
After all, USC has a history of involving its tight ends in the offense more than the average program. Case in point, former Trojan tight end Fred Davis led the team in receptions in 2007.
