Where’s the SColiseum?

The SColiseum is officially and temporarily under “re-construction” since we received a cease & desist notice from the firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP,

representing the University of Southern California (“USC”).

It has come to our attention that your site is once again selling
USC-related merchandise without USC’s authorization. In this instance, in
violation of numerous federal trademark registrations, the site is using a
close replica of USC’s “SC” interlock logo in the banner, and is offering
merchandise under USC’s trademark Tommy Trojan design logo. Moreover the
site is also using the names of Reggie Bush and John David Booty (both USC
student-athletes) on merchandise. It is a violation of NCAA rules as well
as a violation of California right of publicity law for any entity to be
selling merchandise using the names of Mr. Bush or Mr. Booty.

Hopefully we can keep selling the I LOVE BUSH (front) / I LOVE BOOTY (back) T-shirts since it was totally “coincidental” that our fondness for womens assets

intersected with a couple of USC football players last names. We swear!

  1. I’d love to buy an “I Love Bush” shirt for a friend for christmas. Any idea if/when they’ll be available, and how?

    Thanks 🙂

  2. I’m in a wheelchair and design my own USC t-shirts and sell them on my website. I was selling one’s with Booty’s name on which I will stop. But why did NCAA shut down my website. Was it because I had Booty’s name on shirts or was it because of other. Booty, Booty, Booty everywhere is from a Rapper. Just so happens USC QB name is Booty???NO?? I have some real kool shirt designs which I came up with myself. Please tell me what I can do to keep selling them. I don’t have alot of money. Thanks, Mike
